(Some of these posts are just what God is speaking to me and I believe they may benefit some of you as well.)
What are you doing with what you now have?
Are you taking full responsibility for all that is currently under your authority? Or would excuses need to be made if someone examined portions of your life?
Be content with what you now have.
"A man plans his way but the Lord orders his steps."
"He who is faithful with the small will be faithful with much."
"Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge him in all your ways and he will make your path straight."
This means- be content with what you have. Be faithful with it. Do your absolute best and let God do the rest. Trust him. Do your part and let him guide you and bring things into alignment. Let him order your steps. Just be willing, faithful, responsible, excellent.
"Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you as well."
You can't seek the call more than the Caller.
You can't order others more than you order yourself.
You can't control others. You can only control yourself.
You can't control all circumstances. You can control how you respond.
"Who are you to judge another man's servant. To his own master he stands or falls." But "test yourself and work out your salvation with fear and trembling."
Childlike faith. Day by day just living in the moment. Obedient. Happy.
"Do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will take care of itself." "Honor God and He will do this ... He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn. He will make your feet like the feet of the deer. He will enable you to stand on the heights. He will go before you and be your rear guard. He will make the path straight and smooth out the rough places."
Move when the Cloud moves. Stay when He stays.
"Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in His wonderful face. And the things of earth will go strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace."
He will tell you what you need to know when you need to know it.
When he gives vision, write it down and make it plain and live it day by day with excellence keeping eyes on Him. For "without him we labor in vain."
