God cares about even the trivial, daily, things we need to figure out. He answers prayers in the most subtle, profound way. We have begged and fretted about how to keep our family in this lovely -small- house that we can afford until something else comes up. And he answers.
He gave us the idea in a moment to switch all the kids to one bedroom and return our room upstairs opening up more room down stairs and opening up a room for toys as well which also made space for projects in the foyer. This also gave Gary and I our privacy back and gave us closet space!
But then all six children were sleeping on 2 bunk beds. (4 twin mattresses ) and the close quarters in bed were not always a good thing. Respect must be had for other members of the family and their privacy and space.
So, we've been praying again and this morning God answered. He had me reposition the dressers in the kids' room, which opened up floor space for the youngest's mattress. Then a camping mat and blankets rolled out on the toy room floor at night, and up for the day, provides a space for an older child who stays up late reading anyway. This gives everyone their own bed. Praise the Lord.
Thank you God for your goodness and caring about the "small" things. Thank you for husband waking kids at night to take them to the bathroom which cuts the wet beds down which lessens laundry and the wear on the septic which has difficulty keeping up with our family.
